About the song:

The words of “al naarot Bavel” (on Bavel’s rivers)
are taking from Tehilim (Psalms).
The name of the singer who is singing this song is Gad Elbaz,
he’s a Jewish and religious singer from Israel.

Why I chose this song?
First of all, I think this is a beautiful song.
This song and also the video-clip of this song,
have some similarities to the “Earth Song” by Michael Jackson.
They are both talking about destruction.

“Al naarot Bavel” is a song about the second temple
(Beit HaMikdash meaning: Holy House) which was destroyed because of
the people who hated each other in vain.
Unfortunately, those things are happening today as well.

And in the “Earth Song” Michael singing also about
bloodshed and wars.

I think they are both (Gad and Michael)
trying to wake up all of us, before it will be too late

We all want a better place,
and we all praying to God to give us some peace.

By the way, Gad was a fan of Michael once. (-;
