Posted: anxiety panic disorder
As many of you know, I deal with depression/anxiety/panic attacks as well as agoraphobia and have dealt with the anxiety/panic attacks and the agoraphobia for almost two years now. My mom and brother have free health insurance from the American Indian Health Project and they brought me some paperwork one day to fill out so I could get some help. (I am also eligible for the free health insurance since I am Cherokee Indian, but was never able to take advantage of it due to the agoraphobia). The nurse at the American Indian Health Project even said she would come out and see me personally due to the anxiety/panic attacks and agoraphobia. Being hard-headed and not wanting any help, I put away the paperwork never giving a second thought to the possibility of getting help. Now that I’ve thought about it, and now that I’ve suffered for nearly two years with the anxiety/panic attacks and agoraphobia, I’ve decided to seek professional help. I would appreciate all of your prayers, and to God be the glory! Amen.

My first Sovereign Grace pastor was about a quarter Chocktaw and his preaching was the first I ever heard. So many of us have some kind of Indian in us somewhere. And of course many would not even know it.

Praying for you.
A family member of mine used to have panic attacks, and I have dealt with stressful situations, myself, so I can see how this can be a problem.
Keep resting in Christ, and prayerfully consider any help you can get.

There’s the story …
There’s the story of the man and the flood. A man dies in a flood and asks god why he wasn’t rescued. Then god lists all of the ppl that tried to help and the man refused them all.
If help is available, don’t be ashamed to accept it. Sometimes problems are too big for a person to handle them alone.
I wish you all the best!

Sorry for my …
Sorry for my passion in your comments Jordan.
It’s still resides in me from my many months of learning about scientology and fighting their anti-psychology propaganda online. It strikes a chord in me when people can have the nerve to ignorantly dissuade others when their opinions are simply unfounded.

Everyone jumped in because it’s a public forum on the internet, and on the internet when you see someone talking out of their ass, you call them on their bullshit.
And pardon my french.
Not to mention the intentions behind your comment, weather you realize it or not, were so completely morally wrong in so many ways. Otherwise no one would have replied. Should tell you something.

Prices in Vegas:
…
Prices in Vegas:
Round trip flight: $250 MAX
Presidential suite: $500 per weekend on average
High end dinner for two: $250
Average annual psychologists salary: $85,000 (about $7,000 monthly) (src: salary [. ] com)
Years of schooling required: Minimum of 8 years
So you’re telling me for a measly $1,000 perk – not even CASH – a college educated doctor would even CONSIDER jeopardizing 8 years and $7,000 steady income?
…so he can attend a seminar?
Do you see a problem with your logic yet?

Bribing a doctor is …
Bribing a doctor is illegal. Giving him a trip to Las Vegas and putting him in the best suite so he can go to a seminar is not. Nice dinners and fancy cars are right up there allie. I was around many doctors.
Why the heck would I lie? Take the stinkin’ drugs. Swallow them all. I don’t care. This was an a b conversation and then everyone who has an OPINION jumps in. I dont care…. Dance on medication street with all the bike riding butterfly yellow brick roads all you want. LATE.

I can relate to the …
I can relate to the Anxiety and depression part. I never was a full blown agoraphobic though. I did always prefer to be at my house but could leave when I needed to. I took anti Depressants and they were fine but they all caused me to gain a lot of weight. What I ended up doing is counseling on getting over it. It’s amazing what you can get over once you realize that they aren’t all out to get you or judging you. I haven’t had an anxiety attack in 10 years. Find what works for you, good luck.

I have a history of …
I have a history of the same issues, but I can’t take antidepressants. However, most people can, and they have some great medications to combat the anxiety issues as well. It’s important, though, Jordan, that you take any opportunity you can to get out and into public. Go slowly at first….very small doses, and each time, go for a bit longer. You’ll be amazed how you can combat the agorophobia this way. Agorophobia means “fear of the market place.”

I hope you get the help you need. Praying is good. I know it can help you though things, my mother is using it to get though her alcoholism.
But even with that she has medication for her depression.
Hope you find your way to a good path

As a psychologist to be you may enjoy my videos. I collect nutcases, in short.

I really hope you …
I really hope you do not allow these fools to dissuade you from getting the help you need. No one knows what you need besides YOU. If you’re unhappy with whatever doctor you’re seeing or meds you’re given, don’t hesitate to find a new doc. If the “LORD” could heal you, he would have, you’re a good person.
From one compassionate human being to the next: I wish you all the best.
I too suffer from some severe depression and know how hard it is to LOOK at this bull, let alone grab his horns. GL

Uh let’s use a …
Uh let’s use a little common sense here, huh?
1. Bribing doctors is illegal. Yes it DOES still happen, but there are rules in place to make sure it happens as least often as possible.
2. Not every doctor becomes a doctor because of the money. Aside from that fact, their job itself pays VERY well, now why would they need an extra little kick back on PRESCRIPTIONS that cost no more than $40?
You ARE a liar. Maybe you’re innocently confused, but your statements are flat wrong in many ways.
